We're hiring a contingent model designer to extend our core CD / model design crew on MAIBA's language layer — operating with real strategic latitude and carrying day-to-day execution.
Shared ownership, up front: The core CD team owns the north-star quality bar and holds final sign-off, and you'll work within that. But inside it you'll have genuine room to shape frameworks for your focus areas, set priorities, and interpret eval results into model-design action — not just implement prompt rules handed to you. You'll help define and refine what good looks like for your conversational surfaces, translate those frameworks into testable system prompt rules, hillclimb on language-driven behavior, and dogfood changes to catch failures before they reach experiment audiences.
