Job Description
**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Model Based Systems Engineer** to join our team working in the **Washington D.C. Navy Yard.** This will be a **hybrid** position requiring the employee to be **onsite at least 1 time per week** .
The Model Based Systems Engineer in this position will develop and maintain the Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for the Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) MK 2 to support system installations and upgrades on United States Aircraft Carriers and Amphibious ship platforms.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ Develop interface control documents (ICDs) showing the interfaces between various components of the combat system on US Navy ships
+ Review existing ICDs and related drawings and provide comments on drawing accuracy
+ Interface with various Navy customers to obtain technical information needed to assist in ICD development and updating
