Join Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada as a full-time Apprentice in Orientation and Mobility located in Saskatoon or Regina. This position provides a unique opportunity for hands-on training and practical experience.
As an Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of an experienced Orientation and Mobility Specialist while completing graduate-level coursework. The focus is on enhancing the daily living skills of clients with vision loss through targeted education and supportive interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct consultations for individuals adjusting to vision loss
• Track service delivery and maintain essential documentation
• Evaluate progress and adapt service plans as needed
• Teach essential mobility and orientation skills
• Collaborate extensively with community stakeholders
