We are looking for experienced Security Officers to join our Mobile team! This team works throughout team across Nanaimo, Parksville, Ladysmith, Qualicum Beach, and Nanoose Bay but your shifts will start and end at the base site in Nanaimo. Your pay rate will start at $18.50/hr and increase to $21/hr after completing your training, and you will be working 8 to12 hour shifts depending on the assigned route.
In this role, your main objective is the prevention of criminal activity in Nanaimo and surrounding cities by conducting emergency responses to alarms, reporting security breaches and property damage, and directing unauthorized individuals to leave the premises. You will be driving a Paladin vehicle and also conducting foot patrols inside and outside of facilities, up and down stairs, and over uneven surfaces and terrains.
