Mobile Mechanic

Job Summary

As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first‑class service without the constraints of a traditional garage. You’ll be equipped with your own van, fuel card, uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit, all provided.

Salary & Hours

• Base salary: £45,370 (incl. London weighting allowance, if applicable)
• On‑target earnings up to £57,000 through bonuses and overtime
• 40 hours per week, core hours 8:30am‑5pm, with 1 in 4 Saturdays
• Guaranteed overtime option available after first month, £30 per hour for rest days
