POSITION TYPE CONTRACT (One Year)

The Mobile Assist and Connect Team Member (MAC247) will be an integral role for the Downtown Community Safety Partnership (DCSP), primarily focused on providing presence and outreach services to the downtown community. This role provides a welcoming and friendly presence to everyone downtown while also performing comprehensive outreach, advanced medical aid as required, social needs assessments, and improving the overall health, safety, and wellbeing of the Winnipeg downtown community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a welcoming and friendly service to all those visiting, working, playing, learning, and living in downtown Winnipeg

  • Proactively interact and engage with all individuals, community agencies and businesses in the downtown area

  • Provide immediate and proactive response to distress or emerging crisis situations using a trauma informed approach
