Davidson Technology are working with a large State Government Department to secure an experience ML / AI Engineer to design, develop, and deliver machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions and provide strategic guidance on policy and frameworks as part of the department’s genAI Adoption Program.

About the Role

As a seasoned ML/AI Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering machine learning and generative AI solutions as part of the department’s GenAI Adoption Program, taking Statements of Need through rapid proofs of concept, pilots, and into production-ready solutions. You will build and evaluate ML models and GenAI solutions, including LLMs and RAG pipelines, using enterprise platforms such as Azure OpenAI and Azure ML, while applying prompt engineering, safety controls, and responsible AI principles.
