Summary Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, Tucson Sector, Mission Readiness Operations- Fleet, located in the following locations: Brian A. Terry Station, Naco, AZ. Tucson, AZ. Responsibilities This position starts at a salary of $46,270.00 (GS-06, Step 1) to $66,843.00 (GS-07, Step 10). The Mission Support Assistant performs office support tasks. Duties and responsibilities include: Performing office support tasks, including greeting visitors, processing mail, answering phones and directing calls to appropriate staff. Assisting in developing new methods for automating administrative reports. Providing broad assistance to other mission support personnel to include procurement of routine equipment and services, preparing purchase orders, assisting in identifying potential suppliers, and coordinating as needed.
