About BHP Potash – Jansen
The Jansen project in Saskatchewan, Canada is set to become one of the largest potash mines in the world. It is located approximately 140 kilometres east of Saskatoon and is the largest investment in Saskatchewan’s history. The project is expected to generate about 5,500 workforce opportunities during construction and 900 long‑term roles. Production capacity is projected to start at approximately 8.5 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) and could increase to 16–17 Mtpa in future stages.
Work Location
This role will be based at the Jansen Mine Site in Leroy, SK. The work schedule is seven days on, seven days off. BHP provides relocation assistance for those not living locally, including new home purchase assistance, temporary accommodation and resettlement allowance. On‑site camp accommodation is available at Discovery Lodge for shift workers.
