Job Title : Head of Mining
Responsibilities:
  • Identify training needs and suggest training programme for mining and geology staff.
  • Management of direct reports, including leadership, succession planning, hiring, training, coaching, communication, organizational development (structure and process), personal development, etc. in cooperation with HR manager
  • Efficiently operate mines within budget (CoGS deviation, production costs, purchasing costs…)
  • Guarantee the raw material supply to the plants (quantity and quality) keeping safety raw material stocks at the plants.
  • Apply the mining development plan and follow up in detail taking into account budget, security, environment and quality aspects.
  • Establish good contacts with the local and central authorities regarding the mining rights (present operation and extension targets)
  • Make good relationship with local villagers and governments for long term operation.<...
