Job Description
- Conduct accurate mine and engineering surveys to support safe and efficient operations
- Mark-up and set out drill patterns, blast designs, and mining infrastructure
- Maintain and update survey data, plans, and models using mine planning software
- Perform volume calculations, reconciliation, and progress reporting
- Ensure compliance with statutory survey requirements and site standards
- Provide survey support to mining, engineering, and geology teams
- Maintain survey equipment and ensure calibration and accuracy
- Adhere to site safety systems and promote a strong safety culture
- Tertiary qualification in Surveying or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Mine Surveyor in an open pit environment
- Strong working knowledge of survey equipment (GPS, total stations, drones - where applicable)
- Experience with mine planning and survey software (e.g. Deswik, Surpac, Vulcan or similar) ...
