Join Peter Lucas Project Management as a Mine Planning Engineer, specializing in developing and optimizing mine plans. This role combines strategic scheduling with hands-on operational support.
In this critical position, you will develop short-range and mid-range mine plans while ensuring safety and efficiency in production targets. Collaborating closely with technical teams, your expertise in mine design and scheduling will contribute to successful outcomes. You’ll also maintain a strong field presence underground to support operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain short-term and mid-range plans
• Create monthly 3-month rolling plans for production
• Perform designs and prepare mine physicals for forecasts
• Identify risks and opportunities for operational improvement
• Support RFPs, RFQs, and AFEs for upcoming work
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering or similar
• Eligible for P.Eng. registration with EGBC
