Join the Mine Planning team at Hemlo Mining Corp. in Northwestern Ontario. This role involves production planning, ventilation, and project management within a dynamic environment focused on safety and teamwork.
As a Mine Planner, you will work closely with the Senior Production Engineer under a rotational schedule of 7:7 or 14:14. Your main responsibilities will include optimizing ore recovery and collaborating with production and geology teams to enhance mine operations. Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safe and productive mine operations
• Collaborate on production and ventilation planning
• Facilitate mine design conceptual meetings
• Optimize ore recovery with safe practices
• Regularly visit underground mining areas
Requirements:
• Mining Engineering Diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years in an underground mining setting
• Knowledge of ventilation systems and software
