Mine Operator – Open Pit

Responsibilities

• Operate large mining vehicles within the Open Pit operation.
• Perform pre‑start and shutdown checks on all equipment to ensure high safety standards.
• Load and transport rock to the processing plant.
• Work as a member of a crew, contributing to the team.
• Communicate with mine workers and contractors.
• Maintain housekeeping of vehicles and loading area.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted New Zealand work rights; a valid work visa is required.
• A full, clean, current driver’s licence and confidence driving a manual vehicle.
