Mine Engineering Technician [JH-14710]

A leading global mining company is seeking a Mine Engineering Technician (Ground Control) to join its Engineering team at the Mine in Goderich, Ontario — the largest underground salt mine in the world. This is a fully onsite, non-exempt position working underground and supporting critical ground control and rock mechanics activities.

The Mine Engineering Technician will play a key role in monitoring underground conditions, maintaining instrumentation, and supporting engineering and planning activities to ensure safe and reliable mining operations.

The Role

Reporting to the Ground Control Engineer, the selected candidate will work closely with engineering, planning, and operations teams to support ground control programs and mine safety initiatives.
