Build Low-Cost MVP for Walking Wellbeing App (iOS & Android)
Description:
We are launching a structured walking-based mental wellbeing method.
We are looking for an experienced mobile developer to build a lean, low-cost MVP for iOS and Android. This is Phase 1. A full-feature version will follow in Phase 2.
MVP Scope (Phase 1)
The app must:
• User registration (participants & guides)
• Create / join walking sessions
• Pre- and post-session questionnaires
• Basic admin dashboard (web-based OK)
• Simple resource page (texts, audio, podcasts)
• Strava-like walking stats:
• Steps
• Distance
• Duration
• Pace
• GPS tracking that works without 3/4/5G connection
• Background step tracking (app running all day)
• Battery-efficient implementation
• GDPR-compliant secure data storage
Important Constraints
• Must function offline (data sync when connection available)
• Must minimize battery consumption
