Job Description
An established and respected automotive manufacturing company based in Port Elizabeth is seeking a qualified Millwright to join their maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal uptime and reliability of production equipment through preventative and corrective maintenance. Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and production equipment
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
Perform breakdown repairs efficiently to reduce downtime
Calibrate, install and maintain motors, pumps, conveyors, presses, and production lines
Execute fault-finding using PLC systems and basic instrumentation
Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
Complete job cards, maintenance logs and shift reports accurately
Participate in continuous improvement and TPM initiatives
