Job Description
Spearhead is hiring a Millwright & Glulam Line Technician in Nelson, BC. This technical hybrid role is pivotal for the efficient functioning of our glulam production line.
This full-time, permanent role includes responsibilities ranging from equipment installation to continuous process improvement. You will lead the commissioning and then ensure the smooth operation and mechanical maintenance of production equipment, contributing to Spearhead’s excellence in manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and align glulam production machinery
• Collaborate on troubleshooting equipment issues
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance
• Operate production lines across shifts
• Drive improvements in equipment performance
Requirements:
• Red Seal Certified Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing
• Proficient in mechanical systems and troubleshooting
• Prior experience with production machinery is a plus
