Overview

Job Title: Millwright – Weir Minerals Isando

Purpose of Role: The position is responsible for the Electrical (Light and Heavy current) and Mechanical repair and maintenance of all machinery and equipment on the Weir Isando site, including foundry, machine shop and rubber plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety: Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero harm and support the drive toward a world‑class safety culture.
• Production: Repair and maintenance of all plant and machinery within the facility; attend to breakdowns; assist other maintenance artisans with complex fault finding; ensure scheduled preventive maintenance is adhered to; perform daily inspections of allocated machines as per maintenance plan.
