Millwright - 4th Year Apprentice


AltaSteel Inc. is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated 4th Year Millwright Apprentice to gain hands-on experience in steel manufacturing. This role is ideal for someone safety-minded, eager to learn, and ready to build their career in a fast-paced industrial environment.


As a Millwright Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced Journeypersons and plant engineers, supporting preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with preventative maintenance and repair of pumps, seals, motors, conveyors, and other industrial equipment.

  • Work with Journeypersons, engineers, and operational staff to identify and resolve equipment issues.
