Drive operational excellence as the Mill Operations Control Room Lead with New Gold in Emo, Ontario. This role centers on supervising operators and ensuring efficient milling processes.
In this supervisory position, you will lead a team of Control Room Operators at the Rainy River Mine. Your key responsibilities include developing operating standards, training operators, and ensuring compliance with safety and production targets. With a focus on SAG and Ball mills, you'll work closely with various teams to enhance mill performance and achieve stability in operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership to Control Room Operators
• Develop standard operating philosophies for milling processes
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions
• Lead training and certification of new operators
• Analyze process trends and troubleshoot performance issues
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum 7 years of milling experience
