Midlevel OSP Engineer

• This position creates and modifies detailed drawings using CAD and QGIS tools and software from sketches, layouts or notes provided by field engineering.
• Creates and contributes to high-level design to facilitate manufacturing operation or quality of product. Checks drawing plots versus the project input for correctness and conformance to standards.
• Works with engineers regarding model accuracy, design, and industry-standard drafting.
• May work with system management including file maintenance, backup, and storage.

Essential Function:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS and layering, fundamental knowledge of Outside Plant, running line, conduit and cable design for fiber optics, manholes, hand holes, and poles (aerial and underground).
• Assist in the planning, analysis, and recommendations in support of new construction of outside plant network structures and facilities.
