Position Details

Middle School Counselor

LOCATION: Haslett Middle School

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Licensed master’s level professional counselor degree OR a limited licensed master’s level professional counselor (will work under the supervision of a licensed master’s level professional counselor)

  • Experience in scheduling using Skyward or a similar program

  • Experience in personal and crisis counseling.

  • Experience with 504 plans, attendance interventions, and alternative education pathways

  • Successful previous guidance counseling experience and/or teaching experience

  • Implement Comprehensive Guidance and Counseling in middle school classrooms

  • Provide Group and individual guidance and counseling for individuals and small groups
