Mildred Hall School

Middle Elementary Teacher

Birchbark Programming

Full-time (100% FTE) Term Position

2026/2027 School Year

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor of Education Degree and eligibility for NWT Teacher Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in elementary school
  • Experience working as part of a collaborative team
  • Experience working with Indigenous students
  • Experience with differentiating instruction
  • A strong understanding of the curriculum in all subject areas
  • An understanding of competency based education
