Job Summary
A&M Hospital Abbaspur is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Midwife to provide maternal and newborn care. The ideal candidate will support women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period while ensuring safe delivery practices and quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide antenatal, natal, and postnatal care to mothers
- Assist in normal deliveries and support doctors during complicated cases
- Monitor mother and baby's health before, during, and after delivery
- Maintain accurate patient records and delivery notes
- Educate mothers on newborn care, breastfeeding, hygiene, and family planning
- Identify high-risk pregnancies and refer to doctors when required
- Ensure cleanliness, infection control, and safety standards in maternity ward
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
- Work in coordination with doctors, nurses, and hospital staff
