Job Description

Position: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Experience: 2–2.5 Years

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and technical requirements to create detailed test plans and test cases
• Perform manual testing including functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications
• Execute test cases and document results, identifying and tracking defects through resolution
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environments
• Perform API and basic database testing where required
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, best practices, and project timelines
• Continuously improve test processes and automation coverage
