Latinx Focused HIV Services

  • Gain experience as a volunteer learning how outreach work is done in support of the Latinx population at risk for HIV
  • Shadow and learn about the work of patient navigators, HIV testing counselors, and health educators. · Receive trainings learning about HIV prevention, and safer sex practices.
  • Learn how we support special projects that serve our community and link patients to care.
  • Learnthrough mentorship opportunities and career development activities.

    • Minimum Requirements:

    · Undergraduate, or recent graduate

    · Majoring in Social Work, Public Health, Ethnic Studies or related areas

    · Fluency in Spanish and English

    · Commitment of 10 hours/week during business hours from 8:30 am-5:30 pm

    · Must be familiar of the Latinx, and LGBTQIA+ community

    This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity
