Mid Level Developer

Job Description

We have an amazing opportunity for a Mid-Level Developer in Durban!

We require a candidate with:

•5 years’ experience as a Front-end Developer

• Excellent understanding of responsive web design and a mobile first approach to development

• Skillset must include:

• Strong CSS/CSS3 for front end templating

• Strong HTML 5

• PHP (Laravel, CakePHP, Yii)

• Javascript / jQuery

• Adobe Photoshop

• Understanding of SEO and UX

• Experience with:

• Subversion (Git)

• Database administration (MySQL)

• Sass / Less

• Must be able to code own responsive template from PSD

• Able to manipulate plugins to perform required functions (mentioning examples will be beneficial)

• Experience using child themes and familiar plugins

• Building new WordPress sites/systems from scratch (including themes and plugins)
