Job Title: Microsoft Purview Engineer- Data Governance Specialist

Location: Montreal, QC

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 Days WFO/ Week)

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 12 months

Pay Rate: CAD 63-65/hour Incorporated

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Implement, configure, and manage Microsoft Purview to support enterprise-wide data governance, data discovery, classification, compliance, and risk management across Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid environments.
  • Configure and maintain Microsoft Purview Data Catalog, including metadata management, business glossary, data lineage, and automated scanning for Azure, on-premises, and SaaS data sources.
  • Design and manage Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) features such as Sensitivity Labels, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, Information Governance, eDiscovery, Audit, and Insider Risk Management.
