Position Title: Microsoft 365 Purview and Modern Work Security Specialist

Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid)

Overview:

Charter is currently seeking one (1) experienced Microsoft 365 Purview and Modern Work Security Specialist to join our team starting August 2025. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of IT security experience, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 security and compliance. Previous experience implementing and governing Microsoft Purview compliance solutions, (i.e., Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, Insider Risk Management, and eDiscovery) across key Microsoft 365 services is required. Strong experience deploying and managing Microsoft 365 E5 compliance and security features (i.e. Defender for Office 365 and Microsoft Extra ID/Azure AD) is also required. Location: Vancouver, BC(Hybrid) Term: 6 months. Strong possibility of extension. Candidates must reside in the Vancouver BC area for the duration of the project.
