Sales Agent

Responsibilities

Sales agents are responsible for building and maintaining their own client base, marketing and selling the Old Mutual products, and contributing to the financial wellbeing of the community.

Qualifications

  • Matric (Grade 12) certificate
  • Clear credit and criminal record
  • 6–12 months of sales or retail experience (advantageous but not essential)
  • Proven digital literacy (e.g., MS Office, WhatsApp)
  • Excellent communication, numeracy and customer service skills
  • High energy, goal‑driven and self‑motivated
  • Attention to detail, resilience and ability to handle pressure
  • Trustworthy, time‑management and decision‑making skills
