Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

Strong experience with IBM Mainframe (z/OS, z/VM, CICS, DB2, IMS, VSAM) environments.

Knowledge of batch job scheduling and monitoring using tools like CA-7, Control-M, Autosys, or Tivoli Workload Scheduler.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, job failures, and system alerts

Experience in performance monitoring, tuning, and resource optimization for mainframe workloads.

Understanding of TECON workflows and integrations for mainframe job orchestration.

Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts for mainframe-related provisioning or hybrid infrastructure.

Ability to integrate batch job workflows with orchestration tools (Control-M, AutoSys, or enterprise orchestration platforms).
