Overview

The Metering Engineer is responsible for the surveillance, assurance, and regulatory compliance of the metering discipline across operated assets. The role ensures the accuracy and reliability of hydrocarbon allocation by maintaining the health and integrity of the metering systems. The Engineer acts as the owner of Shell’s Metering Management Systems and is a key contributor to maintaining the asset’s License to Operate. The position interfaces with Operations, Subsea, Operations & Maintenance contractors, vendors, and the regulatory team, while also supporting other internal and external projects.
