Metals Optimisation Engineer

·Optimise scrap consumption, metal recovery, yield, and pig utilisation.

·Lead and implement the Gross Mass Reconciliation process to ensure full metal accountability across CDR operations.

·Analyse and investigate mass balance variances and implement sustainable corrective actions.

·Drive inventory accuracy, governance, stock reconciliations, and inventory reduction initiatives.

·Lead process optimisation and continuous improvement projects to improve productivity, quality, and cost performance.

·Align scrap availability and inventory levels with production and casting requirements.

·Develop dashboards, KPIs, and management reports to support operational decision-making.

·Identify and eliminate process bottlenecks using Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints principles.
