Metallurgist

REED Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a leading Engineering & Manufacturing company. .Metallurgist Main Duties and Responsibilities Lead projects to improve product quality and/or decrease cost (eg. Yield, Right First Time). Interface with customers on defining technical requirements and resolving customer problems. Work closely with operations to resolve internal technical problems. Working with Operations to ensure all relevant documentation for current products are updated to the required standard. Establish and monitor KPIs for key process operations. Development and introduction of new products. Operate in line with the company's culture of quality and safety every day. Mentor technical graduates and placements students as applicable. Travelling at home and abroad may be required to support customers and witness sub-contract activities.
