Position: Metallurgist, reports to Manager of QC department Location: Houston TX (West Houston) Metallurgical experience in the hot forming manufacturing and heat treatment of Stainless Steel, Hi-nickel and Carbon Alloys The Candidate shall have a solid background in the hot manufacturing process (forging/rolling) of components made out of SS, Hi-Ni, Chrome- moly, Duplex, Superduplex, Martensitic, Precipitation Hardening and Carbon Alloys, including heat treatment, testing, and machining processes. Well versed with ISO 9000 Quality System design and implementation, procedures, as well as accompanying quality audits. Knowledge of current ASTM, ASME, and industry standards is essential. Familiarity with NORSOK, PED, DIN, and major end user specifications would be helpful. Experience in working with third party testing laboratories and inspection agencies is preferred. Coordinate with QA/QC/Sales/Manufacturing/Mgmt.
