**Job Title: Metal Finisher (Sander/Grinder)**
**Shift:** 5:30am-4pm Mon-Thurs (voluntary overtime available Fri/Sat)
**Pay** : $17/hr

**Job Description**
As a Vehicle Preparation Technician/Metal Finisher, you will perform duties to sand, grind, mount, or repair units in preparation for welding, assembly operations, or paint. You will be part of the team manufacturing large, custom, special-purpose vehicles, working within prescribed routines to meet specifications.
**Responsibilities**
+ Sand or grind parts or bevel edges in preparation for welding.
+ Feather, flute, flat and level grind, and remove sharp edges or burns.
+ Detect and repair defects such as dents, holes, and substrate conditions.
+ Apply fillers, file or sand areas to meet surface finish requirements.
+ Apply primer over corrected areas and expose aluminum.
