A specialist SEN school in Newham is currently recruiting a full‑time Mental Health Worker to support children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs within a nurturing and structured school environment. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who can build positive relationships, support behaviour in a calm and consistent way, and help students feel safe, understood, and ready to learn.
Responsibilities
- Supporting students with SEMH needs both emotionally and academically
- Helping young people regulate emotions and engage positively within the classroom
- Managing challenging behaviour using positive behaviour support strategies
