**As a Medical Laboratory Student Intern at our facility you will be joining a highly functioning team that supports many different departments and has a passion for providing the best patient care through compassionate, professional interactions and reliable testing. In this role:**
+ **You will be responsible for inoculating and cultivating microbiological specimens from all body sites according to protocol.**
+ **You will prepare and interpret gram stains.**
+ **You will be responsible for performing sensitivities on appropriate pathogens according to protocol.**
+ **You will discuss abnormal results and difficult analysis with department supervisor.**
