OverviewThe Medical Document / Records Retrieval Specialist plays a critical role in the healthcare records retrieval process by ensuring all incoming requests are accurate, complete, and properly set up for downstream execution. The quality of intake directly impacts the speed and accuracy of medical record retrieval for law firm clients.

Requirements

  • Prior experience requesting medical records from healthcare providers on behalf of healthcare companies or legal/medical service organizations
  • Exceptional attention to detail — small errors can delay requests for months
    Strong technical proficiency, especially with Adobe and PDF editing/combining tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and ability to resolve discrepancies efficiently
