Job Title: Medical Coder (Specialization: SDS, ED, Ambulatory)
Work Setup: Onsite during training and nesting period; Hybrid after training
Shift: Night Shift
Headcount Needed: 6–10 FTEs
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Coder to accurately assign medical codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services based on clinical documentation. The Medical Coder ensures compliance with coding standards and supports timely billing and reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities:
Review medical records and clinical documentation
Identify and resolve coding discrepancies
Collaborate with healthcare providers and billing teams
Maintain confidentiality and data accuracy
Requirements
College graduate
Nursing graduate preferred
Minimum of 1 year experience in medical coding
Experience coding multi-specialty charts
CPC, COC, CCS, or equivalent certification required
