7:00 AM The Registered Nurse works under the supervision of the, Manager, House Supervisor and/or Executive Director, and is responsible for the delivery of efficient, safe patient care through the use of the nursing process, hospital policies and procedures. In addition the Registered Nurse works closely with and acts as clinical expert for other professional and ancillary nursing personnel. BLS - required
NIHSS - required general medsurg nursing unit. 48 beds. All medical and surgical diagnosis treated on this unit. typical nurse/pt ratio 6:1 with CNA assistance FLU & COVID - Must be fully vaccinated to start General Comments
2 years current med surg experience in a hospital setting. experience with starting IV's, managing PICC lines, central lines. experience with caring for a wide range of medical and surgical diagnosis. BLS/NIHSS required.
