Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering Intern

At Pando Data, we build visual AI and high-accuracy dimensional measurement systems for harsh industrial environments. We're looking for an intern who enjoys turning theory into working hardware and thinking through real-world constraints, not just ideal designs.

The work spans CAD, mechanical assembly, precision alignment, and validation in the presence of heat, vibration, and access constraints. This is a hands-on, end-to-end engineering project, not a simulation exercise.

• Design aluminium profile frames and C-gate structures in CAD
• Support the full build cycle: design procurement assembly testing
• Assist with sensor mounting, alignment, and calibration
• Evaluate stiffness, deflection, and thermal effects in mechanical rigs
