Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic - Permanent - South Metro Depot 


As a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic at our South Metro depot, you will focus on the repair, servicing, and maintenance of Western Power's heavy vehicle road transport and plant machinery.

Your Role in Action

  • Performing routine and major repairs on road transport vehicles and plant equipment

  • Ensuring all machinery operates efficiently and in compliance with industry standards.

  • Conducting planned and unplanned work, including, inspection, fault diagnosis and rectifying problems related to the servicing and maintenance of Western Power’s heavy vehicles

  • Base Trade qualification in Heavy Duty Mechanical applications – Heavy automotive / Heavy Vehicle Road Transport

  • Demonstrated industry experience as a Heavy vehicle / Mobile Plant Mechanic
