About the Role

CV Services is looking for a practical, mechanically minded Mechanical Trades Assistant to join our busy workshop, supporting the maintenance and fit-out of our large company fleet comprising 400+ vehicles, plant and equipment.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working around vehicles, tools, and general mechanical work, and who can work independently once trained.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs under guidance and supervision from our fleet mechanics
• Install roof racks, toolboxes and vehicle accessories
• Change locks and complete minor vehicle repairs and modifications
• Carry out basic wiring tasks (including beacon installs)
• Support fleet preparation and vehicle set-ups
