Mechanical Technician II

Overview

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Mechanical Technician II in the Oil and Gas Sector in Sept-Îles, Quebec. Technicians are assigned to carry out maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Support operations at a busy marine terminal facility as a Marine Terminal Operator.
• Handle product transfers through marine vessel receiving, rail car loading/unloading, and truck rack operations while ensuring compliance with all operational and safety procedures.
• Assist mechanical engineers in planning and testing of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery (engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.).
• Help prepare proposals and cost estimates.
• Actively participate in on-the-job safety tools, review job packs, identify safety issues, and ensure mitigation prior to work; execute work as planned.
