Mechanical Systems Operator

Amentum is seeking a **Mechanical Systems Operator** (MSO) in **Augusta, GA** who will be responsible for standing a shift in the Facility Control Office and mechanical systems.

**Essential Duties:**

+ Coordination of all utility outages with other maintenance customers and mission support elements
+ Assure that timely notification of facilities emergencies are made to all personnel that are impacted
+ Prepare and review daily operations logs and alarm summaries to ensure that follow-up actions are taken
+ Provide shift coverage to maintain the recommended staffing levels needed to operate the campus systems and provide emergency response to facilities emergencies
+ Supervise campus utility outages when needed and assist with shutdown sequences and outage coordination
