Job Description

We are on the hunt for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our client, an Australian Machine Tools business, on a full-time permanent basis and assist with machine maintenance and repairs, as well as the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and the showroom.

Working in a small team, the position will involve undertaking a variety of tasks:

  • Test and prepare machines for delivery (including accessories)
  • Carry out machine maintenance and basic machine repairs
  • Receiving of stock and arranging storage, verify incoming inventory
  • Pick and pack orders for despatch, and loading/unloading trucks
  • General warehouse duties such as monitoring stock levels
  • Assisting with setting up of showroom and exhibition displays on occasions
