Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: LE11
Salary: £42,000
Shift Pattern: Continentals
Mechanical Bias: 70/30 or 60/40
An established manufacturing site in the LE11 area is looking to recruit two Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to strengthen its engineering team.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, ideal for an engineer with a strong mechanical background and basic electrical competence.
The Role:
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults (bearings, belts, gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.)
Supporting electrical fault finding where required (sensors, motors, basic controls)
Contributing to continuous improvement and breakdown reduction
Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with site procedures
