Mechanical Lab Technician

The Mechanical Lab Technician is responsible for conducting mechanical testing and evaluation of medical devices and components to ensure performance, durability, and compliance with regulatory and quality standards. The role supports product development, verification, validation, and failure analysis activities.
Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical testing such as tensile, compression, fatigue, torsion, wear, and dimensional analysis on medical devices and components
Prepare test samples, fixtures, and setups according to test methods and protocols
Operate and maintain mechanical testing equipment (e.g., UTM, fatigue testers, hardness testers, torque testers)
Calibrate and verify test equipment as per calibration schedules
Accurately document test procedures, raw data, and results in lab notebooks and electronic systems
Analyze test data and report results to engineering and quality teams
Follow SOPs, GLP, GMP, and ISO 13485 requirements
